User centric metrics

How can we measure that a web page’s experience is something we can consider “fast”? And is there a one true metric that can tell us our users are happy with the experience we provide them, at least from a performance perspective?
The loading and runtime experience on the web can be hard to measure, but over the last few years, we have converged on a few metrics that focus on the user’s experience and try to align with their visual and interactive experience the page. In this talk we will cover those metrics, what they mean and how you can use them to measure *your* users’ experience both in the lab and in the field.
