Want to stay out of the news, then avoid these end-to-end performance problems

On 3rd February 2015 at The Financial Times as part of Want to stay out of the news, then avoid these end-to-end performance problems

Whatever app you build – whatever company you work for: You don’t want to screw it up because you didn’t think about performance.

In this session we look at real life data from Dynatrace customers and derive what we all can learn from the mistakes others ran into.

Co-presenting with Andreas Grabner from Dynatrace will be Darren Edwards from esure.com.
Jointly they will be sharing the top end-to-end performance problems that caused apps such as FIFA Worldcup, Healthcare.gov and others to go down. They range from bad JavaScript coding, bad usage of Hibernate or memory leaks introduced by 3rd party frameworks.

What we learn is that it all boils down to the fact that we must never assume that somebody else did our homework!
